There are only two things that can happen if you attend or encourage people to attend protests to open up the economy: you get sick with COVID-19 and/or you cause someone else to. That's it. You will be liable for deaths.
Whether you're criminally liable is for the courts to decide. But eventually, when this political nonsense blows over, you will have to live with your choices. If you survive, you will have to explain to your kids and grandkids why other people didn't.
You're not going to reopen the economy: most people aren't so dumb as to think that they can wish a virus away. Nor will you "own the libs": not wanting to die is bipartisan. You're just going to kill people.
So please. Be decent. Listen to public health experts. Treat a politician who claims to be a public health expert with the same amount of respect you'd give a car mechanic who pretended to be an oncologist. Be safe. Don't be stupid.
