In which @DavidAFrench decides Sunday is the perfect time to defame "many millions" of Christians & remind the world that @JonahDispatch & @StephenFHayes didn't mean it when they said @TheDispatch would "endeavor to describe the opposing points of view with honesty and charity.”
Like the last 9,999 times @DavidAFrench repackaged this bad-faith diatribe, he doesn't actually construct an argument or address ANY opposing arguments. He asserts that POTUS character matters (true), then skips to 'if you support Trump you must not agree' -- w/ NOTHING between.
To list just a few counters to @DavidAFrench's sophistry (which French has NEVER confronted):
- We can (and I do) stipulate that Trump's character is low, and the fact would remain that it's still plainly higher than the character of nearly any Democrat (people who KILL BABIES).

- @DavidAFrench's calculus of Trump's character includes numerous outright lies (like repeating the libelous claim that Trump called white supremacists "very fine people"), and grotesque bastardizations of the Christian understanding of sin: 
- It doesn't contradict "character matters" in the slightest to conclude that, in a world where adulthood requires unpleasant choices among finite options, the prevention of human suffering matters *more.*
.@DavidAFrench knows full well what kind of suffering would be unleashed on Americans' lives & liberties by replacing Trump w/ a Democrat administration. If he were a real Christian or conservative, abortion alone would be more than enough.
But he isn't, so @DavidAFrench just doesn't care. In this pretentious narcissist's deranged mind, the real-world impact of your actions on other human beings is to be brushed aside as a lowly "checklist."

But the STUPIDEST bit of dishonesty has to be the comparison between the white evangelical & black Christian votes -- as if it tells us anything meaningful about Trump that a longtime heavily-Democrat voting bloc continued to vote Democrat.
Someday, @DavidAFrench will stand before the Pearly Gates, and someone he can't click mute on will ask why he abandoned the babies, how he figured bearing false witness was okay, why he spewed so much hate on his brothers & sisters in Christ. I wouldn't wanna be in his shoes.
