Did you know?

1. The vast North China Plain, one of China’s main food growing regions and currently home to about 400 million people, is set to become almost uninhabitable due to unsurvivable heat waves as we zoom beyond 2.5°C of global warming.

2. India faces the same threat.
'This spot is just going to be the hottest spot for deadly heatwaves in the future,” said Elfatih Eltahir, a hydrology and climate professor at MIT'

Virtually uninhabitable as early as the 2060s, but unsurvivable humid heat waves are set to occur earlier.
