"Former" CIA officer @BryanDeanWright tells Tucker Carlson (who has also tried to join the CIA) that some Democratic Party leaders may in fact be secret intelligence agents working for China. This is easily as deranged as anything we've seen on MSNBC about Russia.
Carlson totally sets him up for his completely unsubstantiated claim too, asking him "what do you think we should infer" from Democratic officials declining to answer McCarthyite inquiries about their contacts with the Chinese government.

Wright even uses the term "useful idiots" before making his claim about Dems working for Chinese intelligence. In no way is this any different or any less insane than anything we saw during the height of liberal Russia hysteria.

The US needs to constantly bully the world, drop bombs, patrol the skies with drones, torture people, arm terrorists, start wars for oil, starve civilians, and surveil everyone on earth while endangering us with nuclear brinkmanship, because if it didn't, the bad guys would win.
I mean can you imagine if the US stopped circling the planet with hundreds of bases, waging dozens of undeclared military operations, imprisoning journalists and obliterating every nation which refuses to bow to it? We might all find ourselves ruled by some sort of evil tyrant!
That's why it's so important to preserve the unipolar world order at any cost. If we don't all bend over backwards to help the US threaten everyone with nukes and wage endless wars around the globe, we might wind up under the thumb of a brutal oppressor. I mean, a different one.

It's not a coincidence that the two nations the US political/media class has been shrieking the loudest about lately are the two strongest nations which have refused to be absorbed into the US empire. It's never been about collusion or a virus, it's about stopping multipolarism.
This has been obvious for years but partisan narrative control masks it. More than two years ago I wrote about how Russiagate isn't about Trump or even really just about Russia, but about hamstringing the Russia-China tandem to stop China's rise.

Ever since the fall of the Soviet Union and the rise of neoconservatism, the prevailing orthodoxy in the US-centralized power alliance has been to preserve the unipolar world order at any cost. All US foreign policy has been a direct or indirect result of this agenda ever since.
