body was to be buried in Kilpauk cemetery. But it seems that the police alerted them about local people gathering in huge numbers in the cemetery,opposing the burial of the corpse of the doctor affected by corona virus. On hearing this, they decided to perform the last rites(2/9)
at Velangadu Cemetery in Anna Nagar. Many people had gathered there and started attacking some doctors and the daughter of the deceased doctor.The ambulance driver was attacked and they were forced to leave the place with out performing the last rites. Later in the night the(3/9)

If they own a house, the government should take it from them and use it for health related purposes for the poor. If any Government employees are found, they should be dismissed. The Police should see to it that the perpetrators get a rigorous imprisonment.

selfishness of the society and danger it may face in future by the act of these barbaric persons. In India "Even God will be made to wait patiently if a person in the temple area dies and rituals in temples will take place only after the smooth passage of the deceased to the(8/9)
burial ground / crematorium irrespective of the religion. How dare these people oppose the burial, that too of a person who had served them during a disaster. No one can take law in to their hands and law should punish these persons for their barbaric act.(9/9)
