As expected, deaths announced today are higher than yesterday but this is largely a catch-up from slow weekend reporting.

Deaths by day of occurrence continue to be well below their peak of 8th April & probably on a decreasing trend.

Total deaths announced for England today lower than 778 yesterday but, as usual, the deaths by day of occurrence trend show a more stable picture.

I’ve colour-coded the daily totals by reporting day so it is easier to see make comparisons over time. Views? Image

2-day figure for the 20th looks high. Otherwise generally downward trend.

The indicative votes have been interpreted MPs voting against any of the Brexit options. This is not true: one way forward received overwhelming support (1/6)
If the WA is voted down, the default is that we leave on the 12th April without a deal. The only alternative in our control is for the UK to revoke A50. We can request a long extension but the EU does not have to accept this (2/6)
Even the EU grants another extension, MPs have voted against all other options so it just delays the ultimate decision between revoking A50 and leaving w/o a deal (3/6)
