The rush to acquit the Chinese lab is as troubling as any accusations against them. If it's a matter of time and science, being categorical so early is political. And based on their record, China deserves no benefit of the doubt.
The origins of the virus are not a pressing public health issue, so banning discussion of it is strange. Don't get distracted, but as I wrote, don't let Trump's be the only voice on it either. cnn.com/2020/04/20/opi…
