If you (like me) have had the extremely good fortune to continue earning a living from the confines of your house during lockdown, do you expect to return to an office setting after this thing is over?
I'm no Nostradamus, but I think the golden era of WeWork may be approaching its twilight
As a corollary, I imagine the medium-term prospects for the $10 million+ Manhattan luxury apartment market will not be so robust
I ostensibly work in the Chicago Loop, but since 2014 have done so from my Texas trailer park, so luckily lockdown hasn't impacted my work life. Among people I know who were suddenly thrust into WFH, I'd say sentiment runs 60-40 in favor of it being permanent.

My son the musician has seen pretty much seen all his viable work spaces die. Lost 2 tours and dozens of gigs.
Follow up question: if you think you will be allowed and/or encouraged to work from home even after the end of lockdown, would you consider living somewhere different?
Again, I am no Nostradamus, but I imagine a $5000/month apartment or $1.5 million 800 sqft house in Silicon Valley will be somewhat harder to sell for the near future.
