So I'm going to try something a little different over the next few days re: coronavirus

I'm going to pay a lot more attention to the replies

So I'll respond to a lot more of you, assuming you are responding civilly

But I'll also be blocking more for incivility

Understand - generally the way I manage Twitter is by not paying undue attention to negative replies, it's an easy way to get sucked in and not be productive

But I'm going to make an exception with coronavirus for a few reasons

1) A whole ton of you disagree with me! Which means I haven't been as persuasive as I'd like to be, generally speaking

2) This is a really important issue and a lot of people are generally going through some tough times, and I need to be more empathetic

3) A lot of replies contain either a) misunderstandings of what I advocate or b) easily refutable claims about coronavirus

That's stuff that doesn't take much time to address (hopefully)

That said - if you are being uncivil I will block you without thinking twice, I have a very quick trigger on that

Being an asshole in my mentions is a privilege, not a right
