China, the US, and Coronavirus. Seeing a lot of Westerners wax lyrical about how the coronavirus is going to affect the relative balance of power between China and the US. Almost all of it invariably wrong because the arguments suffer from intellectual myopia afflicting the West
as a whole which is media obsessed and cares more for optics and narrative than anything else. Left or right, triumphalist or defeatist, Americans operate under the assumption that you can bullshit your way into any reality.
Ultimately the coronavirus is neutral in as such it is irrelevant to the existing correlation of forces between China and the US and doesn't do anything except perhaps accelerate existing US hostility which was the trend in the Intel / security / media / think tank nexus since
2016. The root cause of US weakness and vulnerability is that the US is an (increasingly) multi-ethnic empire run by bankers beholden to an ideology extrapolated into absurdity that is self destructive and cannot get out of it because it's elites are insane. Every institution of
State is laughably dysfunctional except for the one that is in constant use and honed to a razors edge, it's propaganda and media organs which while effective is constantly directed inwards in stupid positional games in a perpetual cycle of shit flinging. The coronavirus changes
none of this, China changes none of this. Even a cold war with China will not stop the madness but rather accelerate it. China is being positioned as a mono-ethnic commie/fascist Boogeyman. Guess what is going to happen? In an ideological battle the US is going to become move
further into what it already is, in other words doubling down on the retardation to be opposite to the position China is on. China opposes immigrants. 1 billion Americanos now. Proscribed religions, more Muslims please. Gays banished from media. Mandatory gay parades for all.
