I really don't understand the logic of the Coronavirus "2 month" cover up theory. I understand the why of it, but the logic is really poor.

by December 31st. Some places take warning more seriously than others. Disease mortality, virulence, progression, etc. are all guess work at this early in the outbreak. First testing kit isn't available until mid January. China locks down the country January 23.
Why didn't Xi Jinping fire up his time machine and quarantine a city of 10 million people three weeks earlier what with only a dozen people in the hospital cries the Pentagon flack cum journalist. OMG, 2 months of lies and cover ups.
The people pushing the cover up framing the hardest now are the same people basically gloating about the number of infected and deaths in China six weeks ago, secure in the false knowledge that they couldn't possibly by affected by the "Chinese virus" because Western magic.
