Looking through all the entries takes a lot of time which is why I won't be doing this again after I end tomorrow's challenge.
It is just a simple water bottle and that is why I chose it
Also, from the ads that many people wrote, it is easy to see the following:
(ii) They have no understanding of the target market
When you don't understand a product, it will show in your ad copy
And when you don't understand the target market too, you will be directing the message to the wrong person
(B) Now, many of the adverts submitted have no headline or a very weak one
In this case, the headline is the first sentence or opening of the ad
That is because once you lose people in this part, it does not matter how good the rest of the ad is.
(C) I skipped the following:
- Ads that are difficult to read
- Ads that focused too much on selling water
- Ads that focused on positioning this as a cure to a health challenge. Seriously?
- Ads that are more than 150 words
1. Your ad should be something that can run on FB, Instagram and Twitter
2. It must get attention (via the headline or opening line)
3. It must answer the following questions persuasively
Why is it better than other water bottles out there?
Why should they buy it now?
How can they get it?
4. Good spelling and grammar
5. Finally, you must be following me
