This initiative by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is outstanding! They have put up online 3D virtual tours of some of the well-known monuments. The 3D virtual imagery is very, very detailed and you can move around with mouse (or keypad) clicks and scrolls. 1/9
2/9 Some tours also have informational blurbs that you can get through clicking the circles. Wife & I had planned a trip to Egypt later this year to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, but it looks like we have to manage with this one, courtesy coronavirus :) I presume these
3/9 would be fantastic when seen via VR gear! Also, imagine India's historical monuments and temples getting this level of detailed 3D virtual tours! That would be truly awesome from a tourism point of view, particularly if they charged a fee for it.
