I've always had a strange form of synesthesia that I wonder if anyone else shares: I perceive words as numbers and vice versa. So my brain automatically divides words or phrases in half, and those with even numbers of letters on each side are more pleasing
This has always made doing math in my head difficult, because I process numbers in word form. So I get bogged down with even simple calculations by the completely irrelevant fact of how long the associated words are
But I think it makes writing and music easier, because the rhythm and cadence that words (or notes) have to fit into feels very intuitive and natural
