I realised as soon as I posted it, the turbo was really just domestic banking.

Extra-domestic use of dollars was something else.

Ideas welcome, as always..?

Perhaps I’m really seeing more like a series of “process bubbles”, same as existing diagram (but of varying sizes), representing each of the domestic economies within the global economy.

Somehow a representation of dollars escaping the US box, via a turbo, and amping the others?

Where the “dollars” enter the other countries’ PS process bubble, it cashes them in for domestic currency, which their FG intercepts and spits them back to the US bubble’s FG process as a Tbonds purchase.

Then those expanded “reserves” (of US Tbonds) in the non-US economy are the asset which backs an injection by the domestic FG, so it fills its own bath with water that originated in the US process bubble.

Really not sure how to most simply draw that as an extension of the US household plumbing diagram though..?

But, hopefully, I have at least succinctly & successfully conveyed here, even to one dear Reader, in text form, how today… all currencies are extensions of the US dollar system? 😊👍
