Proof that Tesla's most fundamental innovation is just not doing the years of exhaustive testing and validation that have been industry standard for decades. 
You have to respect the hustle. Not only do you save years and million you might have "wasted" in development, but customers also feel special because they get to test the latest cutting-edge "beta" features. It's brilliant... until the lawsuits start piling up.
