AOC, The Squad, The 70+ democrats in the Progressive Caucus, Tulsi Gabbard, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren have been annoying me.
AOC, The Squad, The 70+ democrats in the Progressive Caucus, Tulsi Gabbard, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren have been annoying me.
They all talk a good game. They all go on Twitter or go on MSNBC interviews and use progressive talking points or propose progressives solutions, but then when they are in Congress and its time to put the pressure on the corporate democrats to do the right thing,
they always roll over and bend the knee to Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and the corporate democrats who serve the Corporate state, and then blame the GOP and use them as an easy scapegoat so they can look like they are fighting the Corporate state when they really aren't.
We, the American people, elected these "Progressives" so they can fight back against the corporate denocrats and pressure Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to do the right thing.
In some cases, the most these Progressives do is just vote against some of the corporate bills that pass but that's the most they do.
What they SHOULD be doing is
1. Vote against all corrupt bills that enrich the corporate state and hurt the working class and poor
2. Organize and unite the Progressives in Congress and Senate
1. Vote against all corrupt bills that enrich the corporate state and hurt the working class and poor
2. Organize and unite the Progressives in Congress and Senate
3. Work together to fight the corporate democrats and pressure Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to do the right thing
4. If Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer still refuse to do the right thing, then the Progressives should be willing to go on the MSNBC and CNN and do anything and everything they can to crush Pelosi and Schumer politically.
Everyday they should expose Pelosi and Schumer for the corrupt weasels that they are and let that be known to everyone in the country and rally the American people around the progressive movement to fight the Corporate Democrats.
Most of the Progressives in Congress and Senate only do step 1 and that's it. In some cases, some of the Progressives in the Progressives caucus don't even do step one.
The Progressives' inability to fight back against Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, both of which are negotiating these terrible bills with Mnuchin, McConnell, and McCarthy, is starting to infuriate me
and we the American people need to put pressure on them so they can pressure Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to do the right thing.
At the end of the day, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer will continue to stonewall Progressive policies like UBI, M4A, GND, Federal Jobs Guarantee, etc and Progressives need to be willing to fight them in order to get all of the Progressive goals passed.
