Here's what Bernie Sanders HAS to do in order to win.

The Democratic Electorate is determined to find a candidate that can defeat Donald Trump.

To them, whether that candidate agrees with them on the issues is secondary because if you can't defeat Trump, they won't chose you.

Joe Biden has been championing the idea that he's the one who can defeat Trump and he's the one who can do it better than Bernie Sanders.

Joe Biden is determined to instil into the minds of the electorate that he can defeat Trump and Bernie can't.

While I fundamentally disagree with Joe Biden's arguments, it doesn't matter since he is willing to make that argument and campaign with that argument as his focus.

That and the fact that he's Obama's VP is why the Democratic Electorate wants to vote for him.

The Democratic Electorate seems to like Bernie Sanders and they agree with him on the issues, but they don't think he has the strength or the ability to defeat Donald Trump.

This is where Bernie needs to make that argument.

Bernie needs to make 3 arguments in order to persuade the Democratic Electorate into voting for him.

1. Why he is more electable than Joe Biden.

2. Why he can defeat Trump.

3. Why Joe Biden CANNOT defeat Donald Trump.

Bernie NEEDS to make these arguments and do so in a compelling and well articulated way AND MAKE THEM THE CENTRAL FOCUS OF HIS CAMPAIGN in order to sway the Democratic Electorate into voting for him and not Joe Biden.

If he does this AND DOES IT RIGHT, then it can increase the probability that people will vote for him instead of Joe Biden.

This is where Bernie HAS to go scorched Earth on Joe Biden.

Bernie needs to use his record where he has been on the RIGHT side of history his entire life as well as Joe Biden's record where Joe has been on the WRONG side of history his entire life as compelling evidence to support these arguments.

This is what Bernie Sanders HAS to do in order to win the vote of the people as well as win the Democratic Nomination and possibly the General Election.

Oh and one more thing...

BERNIE NEEDS TO USE THIS CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK AS SUFFICIENT EVIDENCE FOR WHY WE NEED MEDICARE FOR ALL.

ON TOP OF THAT, HE NEEDS TO HIT BIDEN OVER THE HEAD FOR HIS COMMENTS ON HIM VETOING MEDICARE FOR ALL.

Not only that but...

Bernie Sanders NEEDS to challenge and refute any and all pernicious and commonplace counterarguments that may undermine his case for why he should win.

For example:

When people say 'Putin is working for Bernie to make him win'

Bernie should say 'That assertion was made by the same intelligence community that stages violent coups in Latin American countries and lied about Saddam Hussein having Weapons of Mass Destruction'

When people say 'Bernie how are we gonna pay for Medicare for All'

Bernie should say 'How are we gonna pay for our current heath care system that is even more expensive than Medicare for All yet still leaves millions of people uninsured or underinsured'

When people say 'Bernie is a radical lefty extremist'

Bernie should say 'No I'm representing the ideals of Barack Obama, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, John F Kennedy, and Eisenhower that got them elected in the first place'

These are the strategies that Bernie NEEDS to use in order to win the hearts and minds of the Democratic Electorate and win the Democratic Nomination!
