@WhoWouldWin13 The Kraken is a colossal elemental beast, one that defeated the Titans. To put this into perspective, the Titans were giant gods, one of which, Cronus, was not only much larger than the Kraken, but had power over time itself. Cronus himself was taken down by the spear of
@WhoWouldWin13 Triam, but he would no doubt have fought against the Kraken initially, only to flee the battle. The Kraken is immune to godly attacks. The only way one can beat it is with a Gorgon, or a god of such vast power that the Kraken's defenses are useless (such as Yahweh). Morgoth
@WhoWouldWin13 Is one of the Valar, god-like beings that are not supposed to be worshipped. That honor belongs to Eru iluvatar (based on Yahweh), an omnipotent being and sole God of the Tolkien Mythos. However, the Valar have the same power as other gods, other than the ability to make new
@WhoWouldWin13 life (Aule did make the dwarves, but they didn't have real life (i.e. souls) till Eru Iluvatar gave them some.). Morgoth is the most powerful, and he took many living creatures of Eru Iluvatar and twisted them into new kinds of creatures, horrendous monsters who waged countless
@WhoWouldWin13 Wars with the sentient races that were their forbearers.
Morgoth grew weaker as a result, his power and spirit intermingled with the monsters he made. Eventually he grew so weak that one elf, with intense magical powers and weapons, hurt him in a duel. When the Valar came to
@WhoWouldWin13 make war on him, most of Morgoth's creations did poorly against them.

However, he had dragons, one of which, Ancalagon the Black, was larger than the Kraken or even Cronus.
@WhoWouldWin13 Together, Morgoth's dragons breathed blame into the Valar, momentarily driving them back. This testifies to not only the power of their flames, but the supernatural power of their flame (courtesy of Morgoth). How else could flame drive back god-like entities like the Valar?
@WhoWouldWin13 Shouldn't all their magic combined have been able to withstand that amount of fire, no matter how powerful?

The dragons could have potentially turned the tide, but the Valar, with the aide of Earendil, a half elf with magic weapons and a magic flying ship (he slayed Ancalagon).
@WhoWouldWin13 Ancalagon's fall resulted in the destruction of three mountains (each of which were higher than Mt. Everest). It also resulted in the defeat of Morgoth.

The question we have to ask ourselves is, which era would these two be fighting in?
Morgoth, like all Valar and Maiar (lesser
@WhoWouldWin13 spirits like angels) were at their strongest outside of creation. If the battel took place then...Morgoth might have enough power to kill the Kraken (repeat; might. Even during that time, Morgoth wasn't all-powerful).

If the battle happened before Morgoth "created" his
@WhoWouldWin13 monsters and spread his power, influence and evil in them...now that would be a heck of a fight. I'm not sure if he would be as powerful as all of the Titans combined (save for the ability to create life), but he would be tough enough to make the Kraken work for it. If this
@WhoWouldWin13 took place during the war of the Valar...then we have an intriguing scenario...

The orcs, trolls and other lesser creatures made by Morgoth would lose. If Sauron was there at the time (he later served Morgoth, but I can't recall if he was there at the Battle with the Valar, I
@WhoWouldWin13 don't think he was), he would lose (though whether he would "die" like in the first LOTR movie, or flee the battle (I think very likely) is up for debate. Morgoth's other Maiar servants would likewise fall in this clash. Morgoth himself would get creamed.

However, there are
@WhoWouldWin13 dragons in this fight, and Ancalagon is much, much larger than the Kraken.

The Kraken probably wont be harmed by dragon breath, but he could potentially be picked up by Ancalagon. The giant dragon could fly him from the battlefield, taking him to the sea and dropping him off
@WhoWouldWin13 into it. This would be a neat battlefield removal. The Kraken may counter by trying to claw, bite and wrap its tentacles around Ancalagon's feet, but Ancalagon would be so much larger, and have such thick scales, flesh and bone that the Kraken would be unable to harm him.

Or...
@WhoWouldWin13 ...would he?

Remember, the Kraken slew Titans. Gods. There would be no way for a monster, no matter how large, to kill a god unless it had other powers and capabilities as well, and remember, the Kraken is the child of Hades. Also, remember that Ancalagon was slain by
@WhoWouldWin13 Earendil, who, though was MUCH smaller than the Kraken...nevertheless had magical weapons.

Thus, the Kraken may indeed be capable of slaying Ancalagon the Black with a bite or claw scratch (perhaps in a similar vein to how Calybos, with powers from Hades, poisoned Perseus
@WhoWouldWin13 with a venomous bite, which would have killed him if it wasn't for a Jinn's magic.)

Thus, Ancalagon could fall, and that might cause the collapse of the mountains of Morgoth...and the doom of Morgoth himself.

Thus, I conclude...
@WhoWouldWin13 THE KRAKEN KO's MORGOTH!!!!!!!!!!!
