- This list is NOT new & was published by The Wire earlier. It's shocking that RBI claims they haven't updated it since 30 Sep, 2019.
- RBI also claims that list of overseas borrowers is exempt from disclosure - means they WILL NOT name willful defaulters in tax havens.

PS: The total amount owed by top 50 willful defaulters is Rs. 68,607 crores (US$ 8 billion)
That equals:
- 8 times the amount India has borrowed from the World Bank for fighting Covid-19.
or
- 30% of India’s Covid-19 stimulus package.
or
- 45 crore Covid-19 testing kits.
That equals:
