Let's take a look back at my first loooong thread from August 2018 to see how it holds up -- what I got right and what I got wrong. 🧐
Plus, some interesting information that I didn't know at the time and how it fits.
I identified the turf war between the Hudson Institute and everyone else for control of the ONA.
I need to do a thread on this subject alone.
The Flynn and Lovinger connection
What's been lost in almost all subsequent discussion of the ONA turf war is the underlying subtext: Lovinger's enemies suspect he was an Israeli asset.
Here I discuss Strzok's only public comment about the "insurance policy."
I'm not sure how I feel about this claim now. 🤔
No one talks about this
The whole section on Obama's Machiavellian moves is my favorite part.
Maybe this is too strong of a statement in retrospect. (Maybe not?)
I'm not so confident anymore. lol
Here I discuss Eli Cohen-Watnick. What didn't know at the time was who introduced ECW to Mike Flynn.
Any guesses?
Keep in mind, I wrote this before the Mueller report came out and we learned that PapaD was the subject of a FARA investigation involving Israel.
And the IG report later confirmed that the FBI believed that PapaD was coached (by whom?).
🤣 Ok. I missed on this one. Bolton turned out to be a disaster, almost an epic disaster.
I still stand by this tweet, for the most part. It can be a depressing choice at times.
Understand this: Obama didn't care about Russia.
Obama cared about the Iran Deal.
He hated Netanyahu and Netanyahu hated him.

The Obama administration believed Ledeen was an intermediary between the Trump campaign and the Netanyahu government.
I'm not not saying it's true, mind you. I'm saying Obama admin believed that was the case.
This thread can't be longer than the original thread, so I'll end it here.
Thanks for reading.
