-IVR decreases with decreasing relaxation rate, increases with increasing SBP
-LVET decreases with both increasing SBP, decreasing contractility and decreasing HR.
@load_dependent @iceman_ex @susannaprice - IVC, decreases with increasing contractility, as well as increased preload, but decreases with increased SBP.
- Finally, MAPSE increases with inotropy, decreases by HR (so the response to dobutamine is biphasic) and SBP (as does GLS) (but is not very sensitive).
@load_dependent @iceman_ex @susannaprice And the main point is that studies only comparing with outcome, without any understanding of the underlying physiology, very often end with results that are only valid under certain conditions as shown by the fiasco of the TEI index.
