/ When persecution prevails over prosecution.... when those who expose corruption become the investigated.... when chaos supersedes order.... only in Zimbabwe! It certainly makes you think hard & reconsider certain issues; but still I rise, God is not finished with me yet!
/ Yes, so I went to the police station on Monday, however I’m still confused about what I’m supposed to have done wrong. When you stand up against persecution they say you’re fighting; an enemy of the state, but the question is, Is the state not the enemy of the people?
/Why do @PoliceZimbabwe encourage me to agree with many people on certain issues & things they do against Govt out of frustration with the way they’re treated by police. I didn’t think I’d get to the point where I’d agree with some of these acts people resort to in denouncing
/ their country & Govt in different ways. However, after what I went through on Monday, I now have an appreciation of why they do it.

I think it is the police which need to be reigned in as there continues to be corrupt elements within the force.
/ This corruption may be attributed to neglect from Government to resource the force which motivates some to turn to negative means to survive. Be that as it may, it is no justification as ultimately it is the already suffering people who bear the brunt of this vicious cycle.
/ I witnessed that people cannot access mealie meal in Norton because of the corruption of certain elements in the police force in cahoots with the Pick n Pay Manager. When you speak out like this you’re arrested
/ I’m really perplexed and in a quandary as to what representation really is, especially effective representation. At no point did I insult anybody but simply told them the truth. And in truth, why should Norton have corrupt police officers in its midst?
/I champion the crusade against corruption. I’ve always stood against any way, shape or form of corruption&to strive for a corrupt free Norton, it’s no secret. I’ve declared war against corruption to the extent I’ve challenged if I’m at all corrupt, I too should be taken to task
/This is sad, but a new chapter has been opened. Isusu vamwe takazodzwa but we’ve limited our Blessings, nekuzodzwa kwedu to our constituency, I repeat, takazodzwa but we have limited it to constituency level to help this Govt & country grow and do well......
/ That abuse of office by the police should make me rethink my contributions to the community is pure injustice, at least it was just a fleeting thought & my resolve to serve & represent people will never disappear. It may be shaken but not removed.
/We’re Blessed, but we’ve restricted our Blessings to constituency level, not out of fear, but out of respect&dignity. We’ve ability to mobilise but don’t but, when you’re provoked, what do you do?These are the lengths police provocation can take you, I realise that in people now
/ Instead, we remain focussed & committed to supporting the Government but a Government that does not feel threatened, a Government that allows people to freely express themselves and represent people.
/ One thing that motivated me to assist in the push to remove the late RGM was that the Govt was brutal & persecuted people. It beat up the people of Hurungwe West, relatives and innocent people were not spared and that’s one of the reasons I’ll never rejoin ZANU-PF
/I’d be betraying those people if I went back to that. It’s something I personally witnessed &until these same people who suffered, some with permanent injuries are apologised to I can not even begin to fathom the thought. I abhor persecution&corruption, the police should stop!
/ They’ve failed to take corrective measures even after having been given a chance.

Such incidents only serve to make us stronger, never weaker, only more determined.
/Another thing I was reminded of is to never solely rely on politicians regardless of what level/office they hold. One must stand by their own principles&morals and do the right things. When you’re in court it’s about facts no matter the trumped up charges stacked against you.
/ Facts stand out at the end of the day. Stand by the law & do the right things. I went through what I went through, but it was my reliance on the facts that gave me the freedom to stand firm and not any politician; I was reminded of that.
/ I was further reminded about not relying on politicians when I recalled the fickleness of the past. If we were innocent as “Gamatox”, how come the entire politburo unanimously agreed to the expulsions and yet some of them are back in ZANUPF today?
/ for example, Shamu was a national PC. He was supposed to be the mastermind but he’s back so why then not bring everyone else back? It clearly shows the accusations were not true.
/ I recall when in two weeks first they were saying they didn’t want ED & yet within the same two weeks the same people switched to say they didn’t want RGM. They are fickle and can’t be trusted, that’s why I prefer being an Independent Member of Parliament.
/ In life if you learn lessons but don’t apply them, it becomes useless.

Ultimately when I do a job, I do it passionately all the way. I’ll represent my constituency effectively until my term of office is done.
I won’t be surprised if some try to take this out of context but that’s the war I fight I guess, the war against persecution & corruption as it tends to step on toes and attracts enemies
