Campaign attacking the media that do no "support the govt": "They ain't trusted"
Govt gives (taxpayers) money to friendly media (Mail/Sun). Mail buys PPE for the NHS. Govt could have directly. But frames Mail as "Good media finding solution", unlike "bad media reporting problems"
You can trust the "Good media" not to get anywhere near what "bad media" reports (real death toll, care homes,PPE,National Guidance)
Since govt just gave it a lot of money it technically didn't spend a dime.
Here begins the "Northkoreanisation" of UK media

I know -It doesn't sound like news, does it?
It is.
"To beat the opposition, become the opposition"
There's a one in a lifetime opportunity for UK govt not just to shout louder, but to eradicate scrutiny completely.
While keeping up appearances
@peterjukes
Because when you want to hide incompetence, vested interests and complete disregard for humanity behind the disinformation curtain in the long-term
At one point you have to address that "problem".
Social media war was won -by disinformation.
Now the other media war begins.
I understand this might sound exaggerated, but look at what happens
Look at the rhetoric being framed, where it comes from &its timing
There has never been a better time to starve information providers
And keep in mind -they have no other way out
If the media don't fall they will
If the truth is exposed this time they will fall, because there is no convenient enough scapegoat around.
This pandemic can defeat them...
Or it can allow them to defeat information.
That's the only "science" they care about.
