@kausmickey But there's a big difference between Joe Biden today and Al Franken in January 2018. Biden is the party's presumptive presidential nominee. Everything is riding on him. And in that case, the entire colony protects the queen.
@kausmickey You saw it in the 90s with Clinton and this year with Trump. The president (or nominee) is different from a single senator. He's the leader of the party, and the party will surround and defend its leader against outside threat.

Problem is: Prosecutors did not allege Flynn-Kislyak talk was a crime. All that Logan Act talk was BS, and they knew it. Alleged crime occurred in Flynn talk with FBI. 2/4
And come to think of it: Has DOJ really turned over *everything* in the case? What about original FBI 302 from that interview? The version before Strzok edits, before Page edits, before re-creation in August 2017? That one. 3/4

@lawfareblog Lawfare says there were good, solid reasons for the FBI to question Flynn on January 24, 2017 because, among other things, Flynn 'offered to undo sanctions imposed against a foreign adversary.' But did he? 2/5
