1/ If u were a "good person" whose motives for protesting lockdown orders were simply rooted in fear about lost income & feeding your family, u would leave as soon as you saw people w/guns, confederate flags, signs calling for execution of elected officials & anti-vax bullshit..
2/ Not only that, you would publicly condemn these people who claim to be on your side, for such awfulness. Same as in Charlottesville...any decent people would have publicly distanced themselves from the overt racists and Nazis had they somehow shown up not expecting that...
3/ But none of these folks ever do that. They may not be motivated by the same thing but they're comfy making common cause w/those in the above-mentioned groups. That makes them equally vile...If u march w/those people u BECOME THOSE PEOPLE. And we do not negotiate w/terrorists.
