COVID deniers get stupider by the day...now they're suggesting that bc most people in NY who went to the hospital w/it "came from home" they must have caught it at home, so we should end lockdowns and all be outside or at work bc home is dangerous or some such thing...

FFS why are these people's brains broken? The fact that people came to the hospital from home is bc thats where most people are most of the time during lockdown. But it's not like C19 materializes spontaneously in your kitchen...
...it came from interaction w/a positive person which likely means someone encountered on a trip to the grocery, market, drug store, or from a family member/friend who brought it in on a visit... So if people do more interacting outside of home there will be far more infection...
...but if we're at home 95% of the time during lockdown, statistical odds say that IF we caught it during the 5% of the time we were outside, the odds will be almost certain that when we go to the hospital we would have come from home bc that's where we'll be when it gets bad...
...by the time you're sick enuf to go to the hospital u wouldn't have been out for a stroll right before calling 911...u would have been at home in bed w/a high fever, so yeah u came directly from home but that doesn't mean your house is the death trap...God people are stupid.
