What I loved about @HeidiHeitkamp was, the more obvious it became she was doomed, the harder she worked for her constituents, day after day talking about everything she was doing for rural communities, tribes. She kept fighting for Savanna's Act in the two months after she lost.
At that point, she could have easily said fuck you, y'all don't want me, I'm outta here. But she stayed and fought for the North Dakotans who had rejected her. Because she truly loved her state and wanted to make all the difference she could.
Just try to imagine, if Trump loses to Biden, what he will do with his last two months in office. He doesn't even do his job now. Imagine how checked out he would be then. It'll make a stark contrast.
