The Koyambedu market comes under the control of @OfficeofOPS. While @CMOTamilNadu has to handle the Corona situation in the entire state, the job of @OfficeofOPS is just to handle the Koyambedu market wherein lakhs of people visit daily. 2/n
The nationwide lockdown was announced on 24th March. All theaters, malls & pubic places were shut. While vehicular movements & public gathering was prevented across the state, Koyambedu market continued to host lakhs of vendors & public. 3/n
On 29th March @OfficeofOPS visited Koyambedu market and said he instructed strict following of social distancing. On 30th March he again visited the market and posted a video that corona prevention activities are being undertaken strictly in the market 4/n
On 6th April, @OfficeofOPS tweeted that Koyambedu market is regularly sanitized and garbage removed. He also tweeted that all those who enter the market are checked for infection, which is a lie. It is humanly impossible to check all those enter the market for infection. 5/n 
On 15th April, he met the representatives of real estate industry and assured them that efforts will be made to re-start the construction activity in the state. Look at his priority !! 6/n
On 27th April, he again he hosted a meeting in Secretariat with officers to prevent community spread in Koyambedu market. But by this time, the damage is complete and irreversible. 7/n
Apart from the above dates, @OfficeofOPS was in his hometown, safely. While the Koyambedu market was spreading the virus to the entire state, @OfficeofOPS was distributing relief material, tasting food in Amma canteen in his hometown. 8/n
Koyambedu market was functioning during the entire period of lockdown from 24th March to 29th April till it was completely shut down. As of today, there are 30 infections. And it is multiplying everyday. 9/n
A plain view of the Koyambedu market or a cursory enquiry from anyone who is visiting the market would reveal, Koyambedu is a time bomb. However, it did not dawn on the 3 time Chief Minister that this possible hub of infections should be shut down. 10/n
While, @OfficeofOPS was keen to ensure Registration offices are opened, for registration of immovable properties, he showed little interest in preventing the spread of virus apart from a few photo-op measures.

Though the Koyambedu market is shut for retailers, infections sprouted from this cluster has spread all over the state. All efforts so far made by the state machinery has gone for a toss. Officers associated with Corona work, say Koyambedu will spell doom for Tamil Nadu 12/n
But an unperturbed @OfficeofOPS is only worried as to when real estate industry would commence work and when Modi will make his son a Union Minister.
