Pakistan Army Green Book 2020 gives clear window into their thinking

1. They accept they have no appetite for kinetic war so they focus on aggressive diplomacy, Info Warfare

2. They openly say they would use fake videos, Indian Media, political parties as force multipliers

3. They would like to set up a USD 500 mn crowd sourced fund to prosecute this war. Buying media, Indian and foreign is openly advocated

4. Bringing Pak News channel under direct control of @dgispr via PEMRA is advocated. Channels will allocate daily time for propoganda

5. In a 186 page book there are barely 4 pages devoted to a half baked analysis of military tactics, operational art and logistics

6. Very clear that there is no appetite to fight a war and entire strategy is based on using IW to get international pressure to bear on India

7. They rant against US saying India had US support for 370 abrogation. China is also seen as someone who has or will let them down ie not go to war with India

8. Nuclear blackmail carries on and is expected to be taken seriously despite Balokot air strikes

9. Balakot is portrayed as a big victory. They seem to have started believing their own propoganda

10. All in all the book shows fear, lack of resolve and preparation and a desire to use others shoulders to fire their weapons - US, China, UNO...anyone but the Pak Army !

11. Our response shud be to keep pressure up on LC, exploit any opportunities for kinetec exchnage and most imp ramp up IW and counter 5 Gen War..an area where we are still very weak. Am plugging in a letter I wrote to govt on these issues last year
