Sheila Bird is on the Royal Statistical Society COVID-19 task force. Relieved they have picked up on the ineptitude of lumping test data from different groups together is unhelpful.

A test should not be recorded as a test until swabs are taken, and data on date/age/sex recorded
That was supposed to be a lesson learned from Swine flu’.

Also the tracking of each patient by a unique serial number, regardless of the number of tests is critical to avoid double counting.

It seems the DHSC have the data, just not given to the public that way. Wonder why?
