Yeaterday one more sad news tremble bankers, Shri Uday Kamath (IDBI Malad) passed away after 3 days COVID19 treatment at Bombay Hospital due to breathlessness & critical condition. It took a lot of time & Hard Efforts to get him admitted into hospital..

If Bank authorities taken proactive steps, this could've been prevented. He was serving in Red Zone area where no Rapid testing for Bankers was conducted, result one life is lost & one family suffered. MrKamath'a Family must be provided Adequate compensation

Irony is that, Bank doesn't even have any specific Insurance for Staff dies due to COVID19 like Govt announced for 50 Lacs Insurance Health Service & Other corona fighters (Bankers excluded) & Banks doesn't bothered abtsafety of its Own staff

We demand that
✔All Branches in Red Zone must be Fugemented & Sanitized on daily basis,
✔Guard must be available in every branch equipped with Thermal Scanner,
✔No public should be allowed near counter, it must be contact-less banking as far as possible!

Few Beds must be Reserved in Selected hospitals for Bankers as they r front line fighters in this pandemic. Such Hospitals must be Identified based on cashless treatment provided as per insurer agreement so Family or Person shouldn't face any issue later,

✔An insurance not less then 50Lacs should be provided to all Bankers irrespective of Cadre or Work profile with immediate effect;

✔Bank timing must be restricted to 10AM-2PM in Red & Orange Zones,

✔No other work except esseential services shall be done

✔All Branches irrespective of Zones must function with 50% staff,
✔No transfer Or Deputation must be allowed during entire Lockdown period,
✔No pressure should be mounted on Bankers for Recovery/Loan processing or any act that expose them outside Branch

✔Absense period for Quarantine must be treated as On Duty & No leave should be debited on account of non attendance of office due to Quarantine or Lockdown in Red Zones.
✔All Type of Disabled staff irrespectibe of type, must be made work from home positively

✔Pregnant Women & Those who have kids less then one year must be provided work from Home & They shouldn't force to Travel outside their house till Lockdown over,
✔Every Banker should provide all essential things to protect themselves from COVID19,

✔Considering mental & Social pressure on Bankers, all Bankers must be provided adequate compensation like 1 day salary for Every 5 days Work
✔Special Leaves for those Who somehow got infected & later treated at hospitals & advised to Stay Home,

Last but not the least, as we r most(ONLY) preferred department by Govt when it comes to Implement any scheme fr Common Public, Our lives must be given priority
