Bad idea

Every single sort of I-don't-give-a-shit-about-others in Gleisdreickpark

Special-don't-care-award to the mother on inline skates with a 2 kids on inline skates, 1 on either side, going slow, blocking a whole cycle path 👏

Too-hipster-for-my-own-good award to the father on his slick fixie, too busy trying to look cool that pedestrians are having to take evasive action as his toddler careers towards them on his bike 👏

Too-I'm-not-aware-of-my-own-behaviour award to the lady who erratically turned across my path on a bike, having not indicated, when I *had* (and I was running!), and then she scowled at me 👏

The we're-social-distancing-but-sod-the-rest-of-you award to two gentlemen 1.5m apart, but side by side, on the narrow cycle path by Station Berlin with walls either side, making it hard for anyone to pass 👏

The I'm-too-contrary award to the runner near Südkreuz resolutely running on the *wrong* side of the cycle path, forcing everyone else coming the other way to take evasive action 👏

The I-haven't-given-this-any-thought award to the mother teaching her daughter to cycle on a downwards ramp on the path towards Südkreuz, when others - including elderly people - are walking up the ramp 👏

The scare-old-ladies award to the cyclist near Hellweg who overtook an elderly pedestrian so close and so fast she was shocked and had to stand still for a moment 👏

The have-we-forgotten-the-past-three-weeks award to the skaters skating in such numbers and in close proximity at the skate park that social distancing is impossible 👏

Damn you. All of you. These runners. These cyclists. These parents. These pedestrians. These skaters.

At the moment we only get through this if we pay attention to each other.
