Here's Jordan Goudreau from the @APjoshgoodman AP piece saying that there's a military operation underway "into the heart of Caracas" and that there's fighting ongoing (????) #Venezuela
Interesting that: 1) They're calling this "Operacion Gedeon", which is the name of the operation that killed Oscar Perez (who is now a cult hero to the more militant sections of the opposition), and 2) That the purpose of this raid (???) is to "capture" Maduro & Co.
A Venezuelan journo has shared two clips showing an alleged convo between Guaido and Goudreau. The two are signing a contract via webcam. We don't hear what the contract is for, but the allegation is that it was for a military op.

The same journo has shared a page from that contract, which--again--we don't know the content of, but the allegation is that it was for Goudreau and his mercenary army to mount an op. inside #Venezuela

Worth remembering that before he was arrested in March, Cliver Alcala said in a video that a shipment of weapons intercepted in Colombia earlier was his, part of a contract between Guaido, JJ Rendon, Vergara and "North American handlers"

Here's Jordan being interviewed by Patricia Poleo. He calls the AP piece about him "a hit piece", and says: "I'm a professional. I don't come out and share details about what's going on, even contracts"

Jordan then says that because the opposition didn't hold up its side of the contract, he's free to talk about it... he pulls it out and says it was for "general services to help the liberation of the country".

Wild interview.
Jordan: "I'm just a guy who's trying to help out a group of people", says that he's not a mercenary, and that he wasn't paid a cent and that he's never seen such "backstabbing".

(Very frustrating that the translator keeps speaking over him)
Jordan says there's "60 men living in a cemetery" in Colombia, which sounds like its his mercenary group, and that the Colombia gov't didn't know about them. He says the opposition "hurt us more than they helped us", in part because they didn't pay them.
Jordan says it'd be "easy" to topple Maduro with enough money, and that he "just got another two texts from guys who are gonna start start striking targets".
Second part of the interview here:

Jordan says that the opposition never paid the retainer ($1.5 million), and "that probably would have been enough to do the whole thing".

Jordan says the opp. kept promising to pay week after week.

"Rodney what's-his-name?", Jordan struggles to remember his opp. contact.
Jordan says that the Macuto operation this morning was *the full extent of the invasion* as per the contract. It's all they managed to muster.

"This was the operation. This was the only operation. This was it", he says.
Jordan says the operation "is still ongoing", that "cells are activating" across the country. He says he's getting messages from around Venezuela from people saying "I've got 20 guys with guns" who want to fight.

(I haven't seen anything all day that suggests this is ongoing)
Jordan: "I've been a freedom fighter my whole life. This is what I do"

They show footage from a training camp (around 9:15) of a man giving a talk to a group of young man.
Asked why an amphibious attack via La Guaira instead of something more simple, Jordan answers: "Are you familiar with Alexander the Great?"
Jordan says Alexander the Great "struck deep into the heart of the enemy" at the Battle of Gaugamela, hence the attack directly at Caracas via La Guaira.

(This is in the running for the most insane interview I've ever watched)
Jordan says "my only wish is that I was there on the ground fighting" and that he is "presently trying to rectify that".

He stresses that there is ongoing fighting, and that "several other groups in the country have activated"
Interview over. TLDR, according to Jordan:

1. Guaido signs contract with him for $292 million to overthrow Maduro
2. Guaido fails to pay $1.5 million retainer within five days
3. Jordan gets no money, puts together amphibious assault on La Guaira because Alexander the Great
