The migrants issue is essentially because the Union Government wants them to stay were they are and suffer, not out of concern for their safety or those of others, but out of the worry that their cheap labour will not be available when lockdown ends. Human rights be damned.
Slavery has many forms and attributes. Absolute contempt for slaves and their humanity and their rights is one of them.
If you want people to work for you, you contemptible moneybags, pay them well and treat them with respect. They may then return. They have human rights and are not born to be your captive labour.
Striking that those who got rid of their employees and washed their hands off them at the first sign of trouble, are now using those in power to virtually imprison them - so that they can have access to their cheap labour whenever needed!! Infuriating, don't you think so?
It is clear that unorganised sector workers have no option but to unionize even just to enforce their basic human rights & assert their equal and non-negotiable dignity. It is also clear that otherwise, the state & its elite will continue to regard them as dispensable 'resources'
