We're set for 2C well before 2045, and if it hits before 2035 (quite possible), my guess is we'll struggle to stay below 3C by 2070.

Seems to me it would be impossible for humans to survive in any decent way if at all in these regions at 3C. We're talking searing heat as far as I can see, not discomfort.
And what about wildlife? Most animals won't cope in those conditions.
