This the same Chief Scientists who day after day practiced no social distancing in Downing Street at press conferences, even though at the time #coronavirus was clearly spreading in London 🤷🏻‍♂️

We trust experts and believe in science - we should!

BUT lots of lay people pointed out AT THE TIME, flights should be banned, football cancelled, at press conferences social distancing should be adhered to

Looks like these experts got it very wrong with deadly consequences!

🇮🇹 ITALY: People will be able to visit relatives, parks are reopening, and bars and restaurants can do takeaway

About 4 million people are expected to go back to work, although face masks will be mandatory at work and on public transport

🇩🇪GERMANY: Zoos, museums, hairdressers and even some schools reopen in Germany, with the youngest students there returning to classrooms first

🇵🇱 POLAND: Hotels, libraries, museums and shops to reopen, but hairdressers, restaurants and playgrounds remain shut

🇪🇸 SPAIN: Small businesses like hairdressers are opening, though can only serve customers who made appointments. Spaniards were allowed to leave home to exercise for first time at weekend

Britain is drawing up plans to charter ships to bring in emergency food and medicines in the event of a “no-deal” Brexit next March, in a move greeted with disbelief at a stormy meeting of cabinet on today
The cabinet was told that the Dover-Calais route could quickly become blocked by new customs controls on the French side, forcing Britain to seek alternative ways of bringing in “critical supplies”.
Whether you think this is project fear or project reality, the fact it was discussed at all in cabinet is extraordinary!

EU officials insist, contrary to reports there are no disagreements between Tusk and Barnier on #Brexit
Donald Tusk wants 3 things from Salzburg:
📌Reconfirm there will be no Withdrawal Agreement without Irish backstop
📌Discussions on future relationship between UK-EU
📌And will propose and plan emergency #Brexit summit in November.
