The WH and the CDC disavowed the report, although the slides carry the CDC’s logo. The creator of the model said the numbers are unfinished projections shown to the CDC as a work in progress.

while the exact numbers and charts in the draft doc may differ from the final results they do show how covid-19 cases could spiral out of control. He said 100K cases per day by the end of the month is within the realm of possibility depends on political decisions being made today

OK, here is where we read between the lines of the carefully worded WH statements:

“The President’s phased guidelines to open up America again are a scientific driven approach that the top health and infectious disease experts IN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT agreed with.

Considering that all of the real scientists have been fired or moved in the federal government is a telling statement. I take it with a grain of salt, as they are all partisan hacks at this point.

Now this partisan economic hack who left and has now returned came up with this ridiculous projection. The data for these models is only as good as the data. A statistician can put in whatever numbers he wants, to get this crazy projection, which of course Trump will tout:

According to Hassett, in 10 days we will be at zero. Have you taken a look at the middle of the country lately? Meat packing plants, prisons and nursing homes. Yea, no. Don't even pay this any mind.

WHY?

Because states didn't shut down, people are not complying with social distancing and wearing masks, and GOP Governors are just being idiots. Those states will see major illness and death, and they don't have the hospitals to take care of it

While Trump's hated blue states numbers are going down, Trump base and red states will sky rocket with death and illness, and no infrastructure. Let's see how all those armed militia peeps feel about it then.
