Telling an executive “no”, even when they have what you *know* is a bad idea and you have ultimate control is a losing proposition:

🙅🏼‍♂️If you say “no”: They resent that you took control and build a narrative that it would have worked our great.

🤦🏼 If you give in and say “OK”...
They spend months or years on the wrong strategy, wasting time and money. It might even stall out the business.

BUT they learn from it.

They stuck the fork in the electrical socket. You don’t have to tell them twice.

This is why we hire experienced CEO.
