Too many people are falling through the gaps in the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, like my constituent Steven who is getting no support because of the payroll cut-off date for the scheme. dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-new…? @RutherglenRef #newstarterjustice #newstarterfurlough (1/3)
The Chancellor must act to expand support to people who are losing out through no fault of their own. I've written to him to expand the support available to those in work. #newstarterjustice #newstarterfurlough (2/3) ImageImage
I'm also delighted to back the @NewStarterJust campaign and have signed their open letter calling for the Coroanvirus Job Retention Scheme to be expanded to those who started in new jobs and who missed the current payroll cut-off date. #newstarterjustice #newstarterfurlough (3/3)

Following new public health advice regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, I have decided to restructure the way my office will work. (1/5)
No-one in my office has contracted COVID-19, however I have decided as a precautionary measure, to support the welfare of my staff and my constituents, to close my temporary constituency office in Rutherglen until further notice. (2/5)
My office team will be working from home and will be available to assist constituents who have already raised issues with us or who need my help. During this period, please contact me by email to Margaret.ferrier.mp@parliament.uk or by phone to 07562288713. (3/5)
