Keir Starmer's calm, constructive but incisive style is great for the present moment because I expect that the public aren't really up for Punch and Judy politics. Except on Twitter of course where everyone seems desperate for it
But I have come to the realisation that when the most vocal people on Twitter say something is 100% the case and undoubtedly true that's often a good as indication as any that it's neither
Starmer is also a genuine contrast to not just Corbyn but the whole style of the Corbyn Labour Party. He doesn't really do outrage and 'good vs evil' narrative. Personally, that's a huge relief as I think it makes him more electable but appreciate some people will be turned off
