Do you guys have a humiliation fetish or something? Take the L already. Hispanics may be culturally conservative (hardly) but looking at voting statistics you'd never know it. Even historically anti-communist Cubans don't even vote Republican in any significant majorities. 
Import the underclass of Guatemala, Venezuela, Honduras and more - unsurprisingly you get the exact same conditions in the United States. You're going to get less freedom of speech, more gun control, and more oppressive leftist government. Decades of outreach has yielded nothing.
Those tax cuts allowed companies to grow and prosper, but it certainly did not get passed on to the American worker. Is a cheaper Samsung TV a fair trade off for decades of wage stagnation and the annihilation of traditional American working communities?
Go to the poorest communities in Michigan and Pennsylvania and small-town America that have been ravaged by free trade and cheap foreign labor and American students graduating only to be forced to compete in an unwinnable rat race against Indian and Chinese counterfeit degrees.
Those corporations were made with American labor and American ingenuity and they would rather bend the knee to countries that hate us and outsource good American jobs rather than take the hit to their profits to ensure a company-town stays open providing good-paying jobs.
Amnesty was never a wise option - no matter how juicy the deal. That enough is clear.
Maybe this is why Trump himself is not a die-hard free marketeer. He and his voters understood that American corporations have an obligation to their citizens first.
Elevating the profit motive above the well-being of your own citizens is not patriotic. Capitalism is a means to wealth and prosperity, but it is very important that it not become an end in itself like the Koch brothers want you to think. We're siding with Trump on this one.
