It's just a formality now..

Went to a financial institute today 3 guards making a commendable effort to restrict nmbrs inside & to keep the SOP definded space b/w customers

Outside a queue of 20 literally a palm's distance apart at best waiting to get in refusing to stand apart

These were clearly educated folk & moneyed. The guards were struggling to keep the numbers inside the branch to the minimum. People kept shoving to get in...

Remember this is a nation that avoid using seatbelts and helmets as much as they can..

Today got this message .. its much too late now.. nearly 23000 cases over 550 deaths... too late...

But don't be mistaken the virus is here and it's going to get much worse before it gets better.. the hospitals are what will really feel the pain..

It will eventually be like the karachi muggings.. first u knew someone who knew someone who knew someone... then you knew someone and eventually everyone knew about you...

There will be even more need to support those less fortunate..

Many who work on charity cases will tell you.. there are many many what you'd call middleclass who also struggle financially and they find it hardest to accept that they need help.. their numbers will rise...

Medical needs will cripple many.. keep an eye out in your circle and do what you can...

Donor fatigue has been around for many years in recent times it's only growing and this current wave will hurt even more..

Think about others when you can 🙏
