So Washington is preparing to put children in state quarantine facilities. The orders are "voluntary" but are enforceable by the police if parents don't comply.

This is a screen shot from the WA Department of Health website.

Here is the court form used when authorizing an involuntary detention. Note that they can take your kid from you even if COVID-19 infection is only "suspected":
Note that if they take your kid, it's to a location on the "Confidential Schedule". Does that mean your kid gets disappeared into the belly of the state, and you don't know where they are?

Weren't people outraged a year ago about kids being separated from parents at the border?
Of course, the mere existence of these forms is grotesque. But imagine the scope for abuse: you have bad blood with your neighbor or political rival or colleague, so you call in a report that their child has been exposed to COVID-19.
You can find the various detention forms here:

doh.wa.gov/ForPublicHealt…
The plot thickens: these forms are under a COVID-19 banner but contain generic language that has been on the page for years.

So is anything new happening here? Perhaps there is no cause for concern?
And in the "cause for concern" column:

-Ventura County (CA) had a press conference discussing plans to remove people from homes with shared bathrooms

-Oregon has specific COVID-19 forms for forcibly separating children from parents.
