Matt Hancock on 12 April, boasting about having increased the NHS's critical care capacity.

(Of course, there was a policy in place to free up 15,000 hospital beds in double quick time by discharging everyone ASAP - including infected and untested patients back into care homes.)
It's like the mayor of a town crowing about its citizens having enough to eat., without mentioning that's because all the neighbouring villages were raided and their food stocks stolen, and all the growing crops were ripped from surrounding fields.
And here's Matt Hancock, 3 days later on 15 April, announcing that FROM THEN there would be a policy of testing all patients before they're released into care homes.
And here's Matt Hancock on 5 May, celebrating the fact that both symptomatic and asymptomatic care home residents can (finally) get tested.

(Remember, a vast number of coronavirus cases are asymptomatic - that doesn't mean they can't pass on infection.)
