I was thinking about the US approach to COVID-19 recovery (keep sick people at home unless they require hospitalization) vs. Asia (segregate sick people in specialized facilities.)

But what if instead of acute respiratory crisis, it turned people into zombies, @dandrezner?
@dandrezner Would you still tell the sick to stay home if there were a chance they'd turn into flesh eating zombies, and thus turn their family members into zombies?

(Assuming, arguendo, there's a chance of recovery from zombiness or zombification)
@dandrezner I would hope you would immediately take the sick to specialized zombie quarantine facilities, with dedicated staff, in the hopes they would recover.

Separating the healthy humans from the zombies or those with zombie bites would need to be done to protect the populace.
@dandrezner Note: I'm not an epidemiologist. I'm just a watcher of zombie movies.
