Tara McGowan, CEO of dark money group Acronym, has funnelled $3 Million in ad-buys from her Super PAC to her own business—Lockwood Strategy—since 09/2018.

PACRONYM has taken in over $9 Million this cycle from billionaire donors such as Soros, Sussman, and Katzenberg.
This is how Super PACs are turned into for-profit businesses:

1. Start a Super PAC

2. Start a digital ad company

3. Spend donations to Super PAC on purchasing digital ads from the company you own, so the donors' money is now in your pocket.

This is how the racket works.
You may have heard about Acronym recently—that's because they also own Shadow, the app that brought down the Iowa caucuses.

It's not like McGowan and Acronym want you to know or care about this—they'd rather you remain ignorant.

After all, taking advantage of that ignorance is their entire business model.

Don't take it from me—take it from their blog:
Is any of this illegal? Probably not.

However, I'd love to see someone defend the ethics of circumventing IRS regulations by turning your Super PAC donors' money into your private business's revenue stream.

You are *PROFITING* off a *NONPROFIT* organization.

According to financial disclosures, Rep. Ro Khanna's many portfolios reflect numerous purchases of Pfizer ($87K—$430K) and Dupont ($23K—$170K), as well as multiple sales of Caesar's Entertainment stock ($15K—$235K) with transactions beginning around 2/24.
Many elected officials got into hot water for making big trades before the Covid-19 stock market plunge, including Sen. Kelly Loeffler.

Her recent purchases of Dupont, who makes protective equipment in high demand now, have come under scrutiny as well.

According to disclosures, Rep. Ro Khanna and his multi-millionaire wife made several purchases of up to $170K of Dupont starting 2/24—just before the crash.

While Dupont's stock has suffered, it's recovering due to their services in relation to Covid 19.

@TheRokfin The Democratic Grassroots Victory Fund is a joint fundraising committee run by the DNC (thier registered address is DNC HQ)

This committee has given more to the DNC than any other this cycle.

The problem? It's about as grassroots as a club of 30 oligarchs can be.
Before we go any further we should examine the dictionary definition of "grassroots".

It doesn't apply to the DNC, or the billionaire's club that funds it.

But it's nice they think so. Even nicer they want you to think so, too.

DNC Chair Tom Perez has nominated John Podesta to be on the Rules Committee for the 2020 Convention.
Lets look at some other notables, starting with the Credentials Committee:

Vice Chair Shefali Duggal was on the National Finance Board for Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign.
Another Vice Chair of the Credentials Committee, Tonio Burgos, was a big Hillary donor in 2016
