And as expected, it’s a complete joke.
Here’s the 2 page “justification” for opening a full CI case against a 30 year combat veteran, general and former Director of an intelligence agency

1. Foreign policy advisor to Trump
2. Unspecified “ties” to “various” “state-affiliated” entities of Russia
3. Travelled to Russia
Wait until the FBI find out that Bill Clinton took $500,000 for a speech in Moscow. They’ll get Susan Rice’s “book” and throw it at him

If that were true - which it isn’t - not only “should” the DOJ have prosecuted Flynn for those FARA allegations, they were *obligated* to prosecute them by the DOJ’s own rules that say the most serious, readily provable offense should be charged by prosecutors

Also, Van Grack essentially admitted in Flynn’s statement of the offense that he did not have all of the elements to prove any FARA violation - namely that Flynn filed a false FARA declaration willingly and knowingly, which is why he left those terms out of the doc

Gen Flynn was there for his country for 33 years. Now he needs his country to be there for him

The President must immediately order the DOJ and entire executive branch to identify all means to free Flynn from this nightmare case
Judge Sullivan is going to make himself into the new Jim Comey. Right now he’s a hero to Team Collusion, but after this gambit flames out - and one way or another it will - he’ll be chewed up and spat out by those same people.
AG Barr has underestimated the danger he has put Flynn in by narrowly trying to drop the case based on FBI/DOJ procedure failures. Barr needs to put DOJ into a posture where it wants to find a way to have these charges dismissed, by any means necessary. Right now.
