Just additional reminder to Nintendo if you want people to stop pirating, maybe make your stuff available at all times. For a fair price.

We're sick of waiting, you did that for 3 consoles. I know internally you're trying to run as much games as possible.
Dedicate one update per month for NES, SNES, N64 etc, if you can't do everything at once, fine.

You've released NES Mini, SNES Mini, VS Super Mario Bros., NES Remix. All successful releases, yet the attention to Virtual Console / NSO is genuinely abysmal. Sure under the hood you're probably working, but we see nothing.

The idea of playing every retro game on hybrid console is enticing. The ideas to make retro look appealing, we have tons of them, if that's what you're doubting.
But if you tell me no one is interested in retro on NSO, that is ENTIRELY your fault, Nintendo.

To me this is the same problem as Google removing private messages from YouTube. They say no one is using it. Of course we didn't, there's no notifications for it and we don't check it regularly because we're used to notifications. It's sabotage to me.

I love your games a lot, Nintendo, many of the greatest games of all time come from you. But man why are you so backwards for no actual reason. I was totally fine with the idea of a retro game Netflix-like from you (as long as ROMs are on the system and not cloud gaming tho).

I understand Covid though right now. Didn't prevent bringing the joke of an update that was Fire Emblem Special save states on Famicom NSO.

A person blocked me with this opinion. Sure, this won't stop piracy entirely. But when the only option is piracy because you don't want to buy insane amounts just for them...

And people need to be reminded that convenience is also, like, a cool thing. The PC port of Super Mario 64 was insanely snappy, launching it and it literally boots the second after, no setup required. We like having everything on one system and especially not complicated to use.

The main problem is lack of access. Literally anytime, even a takedown of Super Mario 64 PC port, is good enough reason to talk how Nintendo (and, let's not forget, Sony) doesn't publicly give enough of a fuck about their retro games.

Do I sound entitled? Yeah, probably. I don't care though. Everyone has the right to play retro games. Everyone is fine doing it officially too.

I'm literally just waiting for Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack. I want to beat some people up with this.

Reminder that, this whole thread, is just saying that we want to play stuff legally.
But most of the time, it's not possible.
And we're not gonna play by the rules, we don't care about rights issues. If I wanna play an obscure game by Nintendo, I'll find a way to do it.

It is all moral VS legal. And there are tons of traps to not fall into for both sides, and I know that.
