A soft Single Market Brexit was never a "compromise" because it meant no EU membership AND less control. Leaving both sides in a worse position than they started.

Remainers never suggested they would. But if you increase trade barriers, UK businesses become less competitive across the channel.

He's a committed European federalist. He's also one man, and yet, clips of him defending that cause were used to suggest the entire EU was federalist, even though he was sat in the same Parliament as Nigel Farage!!
